Russell Davison
A former head boy at Derby School, Russell qualified as a social worker in his early 20’s but went on to be an internationally renowned Club Night promoter and DJ with his dance night ‘Progress’. In 1998 Progress beat off competition from Gatecrasher, Cream & Ministry to win ‘Club Night of the Year’ for the Derby based club as well as having a top ten hit with the song ’Everybody’. Russell then went on to open the ground breaking late bar ‘Susumi’ which also won him regional and national awards for his design. For the last few years Russell has been focused on property, building apartments and houses, most recently specialising in Eco Housing. He is both passionate and committed to his involvement with Sustainable Support. Russell lives very happily with his sons, step sons and partner in Derby.

G-Man
G-man has been a Radio presenter on BBC Radio Derby since 1986 specialising in all things gospel and has interviewed most of the artists in that field.
His talent has also placed him in front of the tv cameras co-presenting an “Info-tainment” show on Carlton TV called “Drumbeat” and behind the cameras researching and co-writing the theme tune on a music show called ”Soul music”.
G-man has over 20yrs experience working in the social care sector in areas including residential social work, youth worker and also running a project aimed at providing an outlet for socially dis-advantaged young people in inner city Derby. The father of 4 children and with a very supportive wife, g-man continues to work voluntarily in the community.

Damon Hague
In his role as a former world champion boxer, Damon negotiated and managed his own sponsorship and advertising contracts, as well as undertaking extensive media engagements. He was also a sought-after motivational speaker commissioned by FTSE100 companies, voluntary/community organisations, professional sports associations and public sector agencies to talk about world-class performance and personal development. On retiring from the sport, he established a successful business providing and brokering security services to high-profile international clients.
Alongside his professional commitments, Damon has always been passionate about, and extensively involved in community development and charitable initiatives. His voluntary work has ranged from providing support to marginalised young people in the criminal justice system, through to establishing ‘thruthafire’, a year-long, Derby-based community counselling project. In 2003, Damon was awarded the Mayors civic honour for services to sport and charities.

Amit is an inquisitive soul who has spent much of his life ploughing through the various details on how the wheels of the world operate on their many levels. Alongside this he has put his hand to many differing ventures and projects including running a successful establishment called ‘Five Lamps’, opening and managing bars and venues in Derby and around the UK, running his music media company, organising music workshops for children at school, acting, musical performance and dj’ing. Amit has spent the last two years speaking and giving talks and lectures on finance systems and economics, politics and social order, consciousness and spirituality and also teaches Yoga one to one.
His greatest interest has always been in learning and putting into practice, activities leading to positive and sustainable social change. He is committed to Joy, Peace and Love and lives in Derby with his partner, their soon to be born baby, and Oskar and Ella the cats.
